HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE INTERVIEW

  • Research the company's profile and background. Start by looking into their mission and vision and find anything useful about the company
  • Get more information about the job you are going to be interviewed for before going to the interview. You may need to call the company to find out or request for the job description. Talk to current employees, and learn as much as you can about the company.
  • Use the company's website, their annual report, newspapers, and business magazine articles to gather as much information as you can.
  • Anticipate questions from the interviewer. It’s best to prepare for a wide variety of questions by thinking about your own career goals, long-term plans, past successes, and work strengths.
  • Dress for the interview the way you would for the job itself. Make sure that your clothes look neat, presentable and avoid wearing too strong perfume.
  • Ensure you know how to get to the interview venue, and try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled interview time.
  • Also try to sleep early the night before the interview so that you look rested and healthy during the interview. A well rested mind also allows you to thinks well.
  • Speak with a clear tone and loud enough. Make sure the people you talk to during the interview can make out what you're saying. Dont go and whisper to the panel interviewing you.
